WHO IS JULIE CORLEY?

"As an interior designer, I feel it's a high calling to walk into someone's home and set about crafting a space that answers their need for structure, peace and beauty in their lives. It is truly a privilege.

I was born in the United States, raised in Brazil, and have called Texas my home for the last 30 years.

From the time I was a child building “clothes-line houses" in my parents back-yard, I have always loved creating comforting spaces. Some of my finest art education has come from my travels, and my work has been inspired by nature's patterns, textures, colors and beauty seen the world over. I am delighted to say that my views of culture and craft are wide ranging and can be multidisciplinary.

During my early years of self discovery, while at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, my studies drew me into the architectural classes offered in the Engineering Department. I knew at that moment that my career would be different from most! After a montage of inspiring experiences, I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design.

Fast forward now, after having raised 5 sons, I am familiar with the challenges of some "serious multi-tasking", which has been a real asset in my profession. I truly feel that the combination of education, experience and my creative God-given talents are all a part of what makes me a good designer! I truly feel blessed, and I am so thankful for the love that is in my heart for the people that I work with and for this profession!"
